Bob & EmmaLee, I thought you would enjoy this glimpse of Mom and Dad's dental school days. I currently have a pitcher exactly like the one on the table. I remember the daisy dinner plates!

Dad graduated from UCLA in 1975 so by January 1976 we were in Missouri. While the furniture, fashions & dishes are the same we used in dental school, this is a rare photo of officer housing at Fort Leonard Wood. (Our camera mysteriously was destroyed while the kiddos were being "watched" by a babysitter.)
ReplyDeleteI think Doug is actually awake in this photo but he often fell asleep while eating. When he was little, I could feed him a whole meal while he slept in his high chair. If I shoveled it in, he would chew and swallow.
