Francis Family Fun

The Siblings together again minus Sam and Arnold. Don't you love Mom's earrings? Her team took second place in the Minute to Win It games.
Mr. Friendly jumped right in and joined his cousins in their card games. Grant is being hilarious.
Being the tail end of the 9, Sylvia and Art's kids and Kevin made up the bulk of the games. One of the highlights of the reunion for me was playing volleyball with Randy, Kenny, Stephanie, Jon Michael, Ammon, and Grant. They were very fun, encouraging, good sports and impressive athletes. My competitive spirit dovetailed nicely with theirs.

Steve and Rachel found plenty of ways to entertain themselves. All four Jensens were divided into various Minute to Win It teams. Steve's team did the best. He and Marv bonded over their marshmallow and toothpick structure plans despite the fact that these plans were thwarted by another team member.

Birthday Girls

We were missing Anne, but Mom and I enjoyed a little birthday celebrating and some yummy carrot cake with Dad, Dave, and families.

Killing time (and possibly small creatures) waiting for the festivities to begin.

There's always a hunt to be had at Grandma's.

Easter Saturday 2011

We missed our other family members, but had a wonderful time enjoying the traditional Easter Saturday celebrations with Mom and Dad and Dave and Jessica's family.
Preparing to be the first out the door.
Ready for the hunt.
Done already. Who needs to keep hunting when you've got stuff to eat?
To the hunters belong the spoils.

The happy hiders basking in the fun they've created.

Sibling Love

I doubt that this is the picture Bob had in mind when he commented on Anne's blog, but it came to mind. It's sibling love at "The Happiest Place on Earth."

Dad During the Dental School Days

I came across this great picture at Mom and Dad's back in December. If I remember correctly, Keith Stutznegger gave this to them recently. The other guy in the picture is Jake Hill (thanks, Mom!). The only thing I remember about him is that all of his children have J names. I'm glad Dad found a little time for fishing with his friends. Dental school pictures always remind me of Bob. Bob's blog gives some insights into the fun that can still be had today amidst the trials and challenges of graduate school.

Who does that smile remind you of?
