Anne the Accessorizer
Tonight at Mom and Dad's I found this lovely photo while returning some items to the small pantry closet. The picture is not in the best shape, but the subject is priceless. I was just thinking today how I actually miss the days of Rachel's excessive accessorizing and her multi-ponytail hairdos. They really do grow up fast.

Beach Fun 1986
Another fine piece of photography. Couldn't have waited a few more seconds for the scenery to move on past from behind the boys' heads. Alas.
Was I the world's best photographer or what? Sorry, Doug.
Mom was always great about playing with us. Love Anne's smile.
Snorkeling Dave. Proof you can get a sunburn even on overcast days.
What's your vote for best part of this picture: the posture, the hair, or the sun glasses?

Christmas Past
Christmas 1998. It appears that Steve has on the handsome, just-said-something-funny smirk and from the looks on Anne & Bob's faces, it was.
Ten years earlier, Christmas 1988. Sorry, Doug. Evidently, you were a little too tall for the photographer. It was probably Grandma Bowling. That's Uncle Verl, Grandma's brother.
Christmas 1981. The first Christmas in the living room. Rich looks a little less-than-pleased, but Dad has on a great smile.
Christmas 1980, the first Christmas in the new house. Love Dad's hair.

Ugly Duckling Pictures
Silver Beaver Twins
2 sets of 3
It's fitting that Grandpa Francis would be shadowed by a basketball net. I was so excited that he was coming to see me play as a sophomore that I experienced a bad case of "nerves" and had one of my very worst games ever. I'm glad to see that my son is not the only one who didn't wear a tie to primary.
Nice pose. These were my FAVORITE p.j.s. I was quite in love with the dark-haired paramedic on Emergency at the time and would kiss the screen when his face would appear at the beginning of each episode. The boys are too cute!

Sisters .... Brothers minus one
So, what's the story fellas? Are you smiling like that, Rich, because you gave Doug that black eye? Dave, are you just trying to remain the innocent bystander? Were Rich and I photographed in the same shirt or did we both own our own Bruin sportswear? Kobie, did you know that your dad used to wear Spiderman t-shirts, too? Note all the different shades of hair color. Bob's would be another shade of blonde.
I love this picture of me and Anne. These were the short-lived days of me as a kind older sister before we started sharing a bedroom and I did lovely things like put Anne on the counter in our bedroom because she was too little to get down and therefore could not get into my stuff. Sorry, Anne. I love you very much and wish I was granted a "do-over."
